Cut sheets of sanded plywood into 8" wide planks and nail/glue to floor, stain and poly. Cost effective and absolutely beautiful!
Bought 4x8 sheets of pre sanded plywood
Cut into 8 " planks
Attach to floor staggering the seams with subfloor adhesive and nail gun
Stain and poly

- Winwax stain (Ace Hardware)
- Minwaw polyurethane for floor
- Loctite subfloor adhesive
- Nails

What did you use to transition your flooring in the adjoining room? We have concrete flooring in our kitchen and want to yank the carpet in the dining room and use plywood, but need to transition to the concrete in the kitchen.
