Outdoor plants? Depends on your climate. Mine would freeze. Indoor plants get dry from the heat, so need to be worrieHelpful Reply -

I depends where you live. While the previous person mentioned her plants would freeze, mine would dry out and die. I live in the desert, so we water them in smaller amounts, but we do need to water them year around. If you have xeriscaping, then you just cut back your water. If you have grass, you would seed with a winter rye before it cools too much, then seed with a summer grass before it heats up. Good luck!Helpful Reply -

Indoor plants still need water. Outdoor plants, it depends on where you live. Mine need water year round, just less over the winter months.Helpful Reply -

I’m trying to save a potted plant over the winter.
