Dinner And Music Have Always Been A Great Combination!

Being a former musician, I thoroughly enjoyed making this table! I was given a full set (88) of antique 1917 player piano key from my friends, and the owners of An Owl's Bazaar, Heather and James! I have a booth at their store so they know I'll be bringing in something unusual when they give me stuff! :)
I had a very large wood spool top that I painted black. For the center, I had a thick round wood plate thing and painted it red.
My next step was to add legs. I attached 6 vintage chrome table legs.
Next I centered my red plate in the middle and used liquid nails to attach it.
Then I laid out all the piano keys. Fortunately they were all numbered by the maker. Once I was happy with it, I screwed each one down, then painted the screw heads red!
It is 52" in diameter so finding a piece of (affordable) glass was not easy. But I scoured the town and found one!
I'm always sad to see my pieces go, but hopefully this will find a great home soon! Thanks for lookin' :)
