I thrifted this sweet buffet recently. While a little dated I knew adding a little paint and hardware it could look so good.

Before

Once I cleaned the piece and scuff sanded I used Wise Owl Primer before using One Hour Enamel in Botanical, a beautiful green for an updated look.

Here’s a little before and after of the hardware. I used Barkeepers friend and 000 steel wool to brighten that dated hardware up and make it shine.

Always remember that all furniture makeovers require a minimum of two coats. It will look ugly before it looks good. Trust the process.

Here's after one coat to give you an idea that it can look scary but just keep going.

I used Wise Owl black glaze and a small artist brush to accentuate the details on the door and drawer fronts.

Here’s a close up with the black glaze. It adds just the extra something this piece deserved.

Here she is in all its glory.

A beautiful green and gold piece of furniture!
