New Life for a Little Old Cupboard

Do you have a solid little piece of wood furniture that needs some sprucing up? I did. I used some garage sale paint and a few other materials to give my small cupboard a make-over.
It didn't take too much effort to give it a whole new look.
You can see here how dried out and worn out it looked before. First I gave it a light sanding with a sanding sponge, and then I wiped it down. I put some Vaseline on the hinges so any paint that spotched on them would wipe off easily.
I gave it one coat of Behr's Premium Plus Gray Granite and let it dry overnight. Then I aged it by sanding all the edges and corners.
I used a special process on the top to restore it, and then applied a coat of Minwax Wax to the whole piece.
I'm pretty pleased with the results. Hop on over to my blog for full instructions and more photos. Thanks for visiting!
