Hanging Curtains With Tension Wire

I was looking for a budget friendly way to add some sheer curtains to my porch. Come have a look...
Supplies you’ll need
Use a clamp set to secure the length of your wire.
Insert screw hooks in each end of the wall.
Overlap at the corners to create a feel of wraparound curtains.
Almost done!
The curtains bring the breeze in, allow me to still see the yard and hide my hideously old windows.

Just wondering if the wire gets rusty over time.

Would this technique work to divide a room, approximately 13ft across? Also, would you suggest adding anchors when installing the screw hooks to safeguard against the tension pulling out the hooks?

    Thanks!

I think I will use this idea to create a curtain wall in a large living room.

    Thank you for the tips.
