if you are obsessed like me by getting a perfect curtain folds, come see my 5 minutes hack!

I will reveal you how I got my curtain neat pleats just by using empty TOILET PAPER HOLDERS. But first, start collecting toilet paper and paper towel holders from everywhere hhhh. I was collecting for months mine and when I did my first curtains I was amazed by the results. Then, I asked my family and even my son’s preschool cleaning lady to gather all the roll holders they can have for me to do this hack in the entire curtains in my house. I was thinking about the pool noodles too but they don’t sell them in winter I have to wait for the summer though.

anyway, this is a recycling project and I like reusing what supposed to be in trash!

you will need:

  1. toilet paper and towel paper holder.
  2. scissors
  • measure the length of the folds gaps in the curtain rod and cut your cardboard tubes according to that length.
  • option 1: don’t cut the tp, just take down the rod and slide the tp tubes through it. this is great if you want to open and close the curtain frequently.
  • option 2: Cut the cylinder in half if you are not moving the curtains very often otherwise they will fall down.

Insert the cardboard cylinders (toilet paper holders) in the railing . You will get evenly spaced folds by separating the curtains loops using those tubes.

After installing all cylinder, fix the look of your curtain pleats and you are all done with today’s hack.
