What started out as one of a set of stacking boxes... turned into a bright colored storage box! A birthday gift would fit perfect in this square box!
This box was "too old" for a 5 year old.
This set of stacking boxes, plus other set & other items were purchased at an auction for $5.
Finished project!
After asking "how to cover box" on this site...Mod Podge was the answer! First time I have ever used it. So I picked some up, along with 12x12" scrapbooking paper of the 3 prints shown. (3 of the striped, 3 of the solid pink and one of the top floral).

Just followed the directions on the bottle, and brushed the backside of the pieces with Mod Podge, put them in place, then applied 3 more coats on the outside layer. I didn't not continue the paper to the inside of the lid - it was already a snug fit.

I AM NOT a crafty person, but if I can do this,,,anyone can! And our granddaughter loved it! It matches her newly painted PINK bedroom.

And it only cost $
