Hi there, for glue-related questions I always use https://www.stickyquestions.co.za/. They suggest using contact adhesive or Bostik all-purpose clear adhesive. If you're gluing the fabric inside the clear box and you aren't going to put anything on the outside I would use the clear adhesive. Most contact adhesives are a yucky, yellowy color. Test the glue on the fabric first. Some fabrics are too thin or porous and the glue makes messy marks.
I would use spray adhesive. If the box is small spray the back of the fabric and carefully place it in the box smoothing it as you go along.
This specifically is for a cardboard box but the idea is why you shouldn't use a hot glue gun and that part still applies to this:

Mod Podge will work for a job like that.
Not really sure what you are wanting, but apply glue in the corners or edges so it wont be seen
Decide whether you want the fabric on the outside or inside of the clear plastic box. The easiest and quickest way to attach would be to use a small amount of spray adhesive applied to either the fabric that's already cut to size and then press firmly onto the surface (either exterior or interior) of the box.
Thank you all
I recently started using Dixie Belle Clear Satin sealer instead of mod podge and it works so well. It' s thinner than mod podge, so it's great with fabric.
I would try Aleene's Liquid Fusion: https://amzn.to/3gdfqyx
Tite bond would work well. Brush on add fabric then top with another layer. I have had mod podge become tacky in humid weather. Two pieces I made were ruined by sticking together.
Mod Podge makes several different formulas. Check out their site to see which one would work best for you.

You could use spray mount or Mod Podge.
Use Mod Podge.

Spray adhesive or a mod podge can work with that one.
It depends what kind of clear plastic box you have but I would use spray adhesive to attach fabric to it.
