This easy peanut butter bird feeder is an inexpensive way to make some memories with your kids while enticing a few beautiful birds to come for a visit. Plus, you're making some pretty great memories with some pretty great people.
Be sure not to throw those toilet paper rolls away! You could even cut paper towel rolls in half, cover them in peanut butter, roll them in bird seed and hang. Everyone in the family will enjoy looking out of the window to watch the birds eat.
Spread a thick coat of peanut butter over the outside of the paper tubes.
Place tube in birdseed and roll all around until the peanut butter is coated.
Thread twine through one opening of the paper tube. Bring both ends of the twine together and tie a knot.
Hang outside for the birds to enjoy!
Your kids will love making these easy peanut butter bird feeders

Is the peanut butter that you suggest, salt free? Salt is toxic to gardens birds. Their bodies are unable to process it, and it affects their nervous systems. Birds become very thirsty and dehydrated when they ingest salt, meaning they would drink more, potentially exacerbating the problem. They would also suffer kidney dysfunction . It would be good to add this information. We all want to help our feathered friends. We, in the UK, have a product called Flutterbutter which i purchase from www.livingwith birds.com. salt free. Thanks. Sheila.
