Use branches soak in water till they bend with out braking then start weaving them in a circle

Find some flexible plant stems and wrap them into a circle. Add some small pieces (twigs) and some moss & feathers to give it a realistic look.

I think it depends on what your goals are with the project, where you intend to place it, and what materials you want to use. Once you narrow those down, the process should become clearer.
