I gave my tired looking outdoor patio a power wash and decorated it to give it a resort feel.
Patio Makeover With a Resort Feel
The dirty stained concrete needed a power wash.
I am also thinking of painting the concrete, but that may be a future project.
I hung linen grommet top drapes and used shower curtain tension rods to hang them up between each support . I used braided tiebacks to keep them in place.
The drapes are machine washable, so once summer is over they can be cleaned.
I purchased a cushioned seating set from Hampton Bay Spring Haven Collection. I liked the set so much that I ordered the rocking chair and it will be placed where the small round table is.
I added some outdoor pillows for contrast.
My outdoor dining set (already had). I tried to create two separate areas.
I have large pvc roller shades at each end of the patio.
I added ferns on plants stands to give the patio a lush feel. (doggie photo bomb)
With the curtains closed, it filters light, but doesn't block the scenery.
For night-time use, I hung white globe string lights along the ceiling as well as using lanterns on the tables.
Lighting at night adds a nice atmosphere.
The rocking chair finally arrived . So relaxing
Added a woven plastic rug from Five Below for $5. Can't beat the price.
