Are bugs bugging you? Make this easy bug repellent rollerball recipe to repel bugs naturally with essential oils. This is an easy recipe to make. The rollerball makes it easy to apply. It's not messy, so you can take it with you to repel bugs no matter where you are.

Essential Oils

This is an easy recipe that uses just lemon eucalyptus and clove essential oils. It smells a lot of citronella. In my blog post, I explain more about why I used these oils and some studies that have shown that they can repel certain types of bugs.

Ingredients

To make this easy roller, you'll need:

Diluting Essential OIls

You can't apply essential oil directly do your skin, so you'll need to dilute them with a carrier oil first. I used fractionated coconut oil, which is a liquid at room temperature.

Add Essential Oils

Start by placing the essential oils in the roller bottle.

Add FCO

Fill the bottle with fractionated coconut oil.

Mix

Then place the roller back on the bottle and put the lid on. Shake gently to mix.

How to Use

To use this bug repellent roller, apply to pulse points like the inside of your wrists. Essential oils do work well to repel bugs, but they don't last very long. You'll need to reapply every 90 minutes to 2 hours.
