Hello, Spring? Are you out there? My tired porch was filled with the remnants of winter. It was time to do some sprucing up!
How did this happen? Lol
My three season porch is right off my kitchen. During the winter it seems like the household catch-all for stuff. I actually got to the point where I didn't want to open the blinds to look out there!
After hitting a huge sale, I found these bright new pillows. Always be on the lookout for sales. I grabbed these two teal plush pillows and the embroidered one for $12 each
Indoor/outdoor rug that you can sweep clean? Yes, please! Again, spotted on sale for $47...get in my cart!
Look around your home for existing items to re-purpose. This vintage blue mason jar, some polished stones and a vintage plate are a prefect understated centerpiece.
I boxed up all the junk, dusted like a mad woman and scrubbed that floor until it sparkled. Re-arranging the furniture gives the porch a more open feel and the new colors really pop against the wood tones. Happy Spring cleaning!
