How do I upgrade my front yard?

I have two carport with rock underneath them I want to get rid of path he's of grass that's is different color and my walk way I have different stones and sand and mud gets in my house from my porch

Start with proper mats. One at the door to get most of the crud off your shoes before going into the house and a waterhog mat just inside the door. Consider regrading the area come spring and installing a paver path to keep the area cleaner year round.
If it's in the budget, replacing the rock with concrete would also be an option. Good luck!
