End Tables?
I bought end tables from a flea market. I've painted them with satin paint. Can I use Valspar Sealing Wax tinted with black paint on them?

You should be able to. I did something very similar to some thrift store night stands.
Yes! That should work fine. :)
I wouldn't see why not! You could try a small area first to see how you like it.
Yes, it will work fine and help to keep the paint from getting worn or scratched.
Yes, that will work well. It should protect your paint job.
Thank you all so much! New to this type of stuff! Loving it though!
It should work just fine. Gator Hide is a little more kid proof. Don't know if that pertains to you or not. Good luck and let us know what the final project looks like!
Hello Joela,
I would either leave them as they are or give them a coat of Polyurethane Varnish.
Best wishes. If you use a Wax, and you put something down on it like Hot drink or Wet glass, it will leave a cloudy mark!
Yes, you can.
Hi Joela. Go ahead and use your sealing wax. Try using it somewhere that it won't show if you're not sure. Good luck Joela.
Yes no problem
Yes. You can use that to seal them.
Yes and feel free to share a picture so we can all see
That’s a good question that might be influenced by your survey here and some research.

It is possible views that your intended active use for your tables may influence your decision on how the finish might hold up.
Yes - and I'd love to see a picture too!
Here is the site for Valspar. https://www.valsparpaint.ca/en/find-the-right-product/interior/paint/valspar-ca-sealing-wax.html
Seams like you can use it over the right type of paint, I would try on a small test piece first.. Good luck
Hi Everyone!
I have only painted the end tables. I did however buy a chest of drawers at the same time I bought tables. I have painted it with kilz, flat white paint and then used the Annie Sloan wax. Today I mixed the sealing wax and black paint together. Then applied with paint brush and wiped off with a t-shirt. I really like the results. Let me know what you think. Very first time trying this.
Here it is.
These are the end tables. I don't want to use the sealing wax on them. Any ideas?
You could try on a small test piece of wood painted with the same thats on the tables. But according to the Valspar site you should be using their chalky paint. Good luck
