Most of us love Hobby Lobby but not many of us Love their prices. Well today I am showing you how I made this Beautiful Boho styled Hobby Lobby Basket Dupe using a few Dollars in Dollar Tree items.

I hope you enjoy.

Here is a quick tutorial.

Fits up to 4 Throw Blankets

I have now made a few of these. I made 2 exactly like this, one for my living room I put my Blankets in, one for my bathroom that I put my Blow dryer, Curling Irons, straighteners and Hair Brushes in. Then I also did one for my little girls room. I made it a little different. When I got 3/4 of the way up I switched from the nautical rope to a pink rope I got from Jo-Ann's. I put my daughters Stuffed Animals in. I love them all.

To start off you will need the large Bin from Dollar Tree and Nautical Rope. I used 7 of the 9ft Dollar Tree Nautical Ropes.

Start down by the bottom of the basket and add some hot glue then the Nautical Rope. Start spinning the rope around the bin as you go. Do not got all the way to the top. Stop when you are a little more than 3/4 of the way up the bin.

Flour Sack Towel from Dollar Tree

Lay the Flour Sack Towel centered as much as you can then take your hand and push the towel down into the bin.

Lift up the edges of the towel and apply hot glue to the bin, going around the top of the bin getting as close to the edge of the bin as possibly. Press the towel into the glue so it holds into place.

Cut the excess Flour Sack Towel off. All the way around the bin.

OK here is where I started adding the pink rope for the one I made my Daughter. You can add whatever color rope you would like.

Just simply start where you left off with the rope and continue going up the bin. I usually like to have a little bit of the fabric showing at the top so I do not go completely up the bin. I leave about 1/4 inch at the top.

I used 2 pieces of the Nautical Rope to make the Handles. I cut them to the size I liked and glued them onto the basket.

Now you can add whatever you would like inside your new Basket and enjoy.icon

I'd like to know what happened to the original handles also. I am assuming you cut them off, but it's not in the post. Please enlighten us, 😀
