How to Upcycle Your Christmas Popcorns Tins Into Metal Planters
You could paint them with a fun design using spray paint. Because they are thin metal I wouldn't try to apply rocks or tile to them since they could bend and the tiles pop off. You'll need to drill or poke some weep holes in the bottom for drainage.

You can easily spray paint them and then drill a few holes in the bottom so the plants can drain.

Robin....Clean well, drill holes for drainage, add rock to help with drainage, soil, then plants. You can spray the cans or leave as it.
Hello Robin,
Wash out and dry. Add drainage at bottom. Fill with Cactus/Succulent soil and plant them up. water sparingly.......Decorate before filling.
