Heres how to upcycle those brown packaging paper that you hate to see to go to waste.

Turn it into a trendy statement bowl for your dining table or entryway.

You'll need lots of packaging paper preferably brown.

Tear the paper up in to small pieces like so

Add some water to the shredded paper & soak for a few minutes until the paper soaks up all the water

Remove from water & add to a blender make sure to add a little water to the blender to make it easy to blend.

Blend until the mixture looks like this

Add some modge podge to the mixture. I've used matte finish because I prefer the matte look but you can use any.

Mix well

Find a bowl you'd like to use as a mold for your bowl. Line the mold with some cling film for easy demolding.

Start applying the mixture on the mold, pressing it in firmly to get rid of excess water.

Make sure the mold is even on all sides and there aren't any gaps left. Leave overnight to dry.

Once dry carefully start demolding from the sides it should pop out pretty easily. If you used different color packaging you can also opt to paint this bowl.

Now style as you like 👍🏻 Really loved how this bowl turned out, will definitely be trying a different shape next time.
