"JOY" Christmas Mantel 2012

I don't have a fireplace mantel, but that doesn't stop me from being festive! I always decorate this shelf in our kitchen and use it for my "mantel" displays. This year's color palette is neutral & I LOVE it! I made the framed JOY sign with chipboard letters from Hobby Lobby. I painted them white & then hot glued pearls onto the the "O" to dress it up a bit more. The top of the framed is adorned with greenery, pinecones, & a small burlap ribbon. I made little Christmas trees from book pages & decorated the rest of the shelf with things I already had on hand & a few Santa's that I borrowed from my mom.
