Add a touch of romance to your Valentine's Day celebration with this inexpensive candle decoration. I bought all of the items at the Dollar Tree to turn a ho-hum candle into something special.

These candles are great for a table decoration for a homemade Valentine's dinner. They are also great gifts for friends or family without the calories of sweets or chocolate that are common for holiday presents.

Supplies

Battery operated candle

Love theme stickers

Red gingham ribbon

Twine

Burlap ribbon

Hot glue gun

Scissors

Wrap burlap ribbon around center of candle and hot glue into place.

Wrap gingham ribbon around the center of the burlap ribbon and hot glue into place.

Hot glue or use the sticker's adhesive to center the large decorative Valentine sticker to the center of the burlap and ribbon. Press firmly so that it holds.

Wrap twine around the top of the candle about 4 or 5 times. Tie the ends in a knot and trim.

Then wrap around again at the bottom of the candle 4 or 5 times, and tie in a knot and trim the excess off.

These are perfect non-candy gifts to give to adults for Valentines Day!
