Fall Mantel

I wanted to bring all the warm, rich colors of autumn inside this year and I started the process with our mantel. My DIY Vintage-Inspired Crates were the inspiration- More info on the blog and instructions for the vintage crates!
The mantel is the first place I decorate for each season because it's front and center in our downstairs living space...
A couple of pallet trays and chalkboard signs flank the fireplace...
And my DIY Vintage-Inspired Crates with pumpkins, indian corn and mason jars (with tiny lights) give a little height on either side of the TV...
Another crate full of fall leaves hide a television speaker in the center ... This year I wanted to add rich autumn color to our den and the leaves and pumpkins do just that!
It's feeling more and more like fall every day and we're enjoying the change both outside and inside...more details on All Things Heart and Home
