Super Easy Plaid Wreath for Fall

Inspired by a photo in a magazine, I created this fun fall plaid wreath in just a few hours with materials I already had! It's such a great way to add a warm, fall look to a mantel, wall, or even protected door.
If you can tear and tie, you can make one, too, in no time!

I've never really used a lot of plaid for fall decor in the past, but I've always loved seeing other bloggers use it and how it brings such a warmth and traditional cool-weather look to a room immediately!
This fall project - and many more by uber talented bloggers - was created as part of Hometalk's promotion. Make sure to visit the blog url at the end to see all the rest in a linky, or visit on Hometalk to see them all at once!
Making a fall plaid wreath couldn't be easier (if you've made rag wreaths, you've got it down already!). The best part about using cotton material is that you can just tear long strips after clipping the edges and they tear straight. It also gives the edges the great frayed look and adds to the fullness of the fabric.
Hang your wreath on old shutters, like I did, or an old window, chalkboard, or piece of weathered wood, add a few pumpkins and other natural elements like feathers, antlers and leaves, and your fall decor is done. Nice!
