Thrift Store Painted Fabric and Frame Chair

I found this chair for $15, and knew that the beautifully detailed frame would be perfect for the Themed Furniture Day monthly makeover that I participate in with a group of bloggers. I wasn't sure of the best way to update the upholstery, so I had to get creative.
Here's the before shot. Beautiful frame, outdated fabric.
I decided to remove and recover the seat, and paint the back fabric.
I painted the back with linen colored chalky paint (see my blog for more details, link below).
And covered the seat with some ticking style fabric to add some pattern. I really love how it turned out.
