Next week we celebrate Deewali/ Deepavali - The festival of lights. I am sure most of us use tea lights to decorate in and around the house. I love using these in the traditional lamps as it saves me the hassle of filling the lamp with thread and oil. This year, I wanted to use few of these on the floor as is. Though I love these, i hated how plain they looked.
All that I used is Tea lights (from Ikea), Glitter Tape, Washi Tape, Rhinestones, Used Rakhi (Similar to friendship bands, only difference is a sister ties it to a brother :) )
Just glue the glitter tape on the tea light

Just glue the glitter tape on the tea light
Or Add Washi Tape
if you dont want to stop after the glitter tape, add some friendship bands or trim or rhinestone
Here is the entire set
Love how these turned out and how easy it was to deck up these plain tea lights
