Rustic Reindeer ~

Rustic fence board reindeer a quick, simple and inexpensive little project…I made a few for a friend and decided I needed a couple for myself :)
I used cedar fence boards like these for the deer a 6’ board at HD is under $3 and I was able to get 3+ deer out of one board using my measurements…cheap!
My cuts were 1” for the legs, 10” for the body and 7” for the head which I then cut into a triangle, my high school geometry finally came in handy...
I attached the head from the back with a screw and used hot glue to attach the legs…easy!
Now the fun part…I added sticks, wire & sisal rope for the antlers and tails ~ red checkers and wood discs for noses
I think they turned out great!

Love them with the pallet tree…
The little guy is my favorite he was my prototype…I used scrap pallet wood to make him :)
