I found 6 of these on the curb and brought them home hoping and praying I wouldn't have to put them back out on my curb.
They had good bones and the straps were still really strong, and I thought, yep, I'm going to go kind of with the nautical look. I spray painted them all brass color :)
Then I added denim blue cushions which I got for $4.00 each! They were starting to look good.
...And now they're sitting on my front porch making me smile every time I see them because they only cost me $28!! Woohoooo!! So don't throw or give away your outdoor furniture, just give it a quick makeover and you'll love it even more!

I'd love to be able to see the back of the chair because the design is neat, but I guess it would be too uncomfortable without a pillow. Maybe a small lumbar pillow? Maybe not!
My personal preference would be to use silver paint and a patterned pillow.....or a pillow with some gold in it to match the gold paint.
Anyway, a great find and nice job.

WHERE are these curbsides where you and other DIYers find these great pieces?!?![](http://cdn-fastly.hometalk.com/resources/design/emojis/1f913.png)
we just purchased 4 identical chairs just yesterday, do you have any idea what the age of these is?
