    Can you give me the name of the fabric on the chair seats. I love this whole look and I want to do my table and chairs like that. I can not seem to be able to bring up the how to ingo you had and would love to be able to see that.

    We applied Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to a sample area on a Stained and Varnished Table (without sanding, but did clean it) ) and did a scratch test and it came off??? Any suggestions??? Were now thinking of priming it first with XIM or Zinnser Shellac...Thanks much!!!

      You pretty much have to sand everything you paint. If you don't sand it, it cannot soak into the wood.

      Hi james, Not sure if you still need this information but I use Dixie Belle Slick Stick Primer. It does work. Just read the instructions Hope this helped

    I just love the chalk painted dining table and chairs, would you be able to give me the name of fabric and instructions on upholstery of them. I saw it in one of the posts but am unable to find it again. You did a wonderful job on them.
