Make Your Own Concrete Planters From Recycling!

Wait! Don't throw away or recycle that plastic...you can make gorgeous modern planters for your garden using them as molds!
First things first, collect those plastic containers in different shapes and sizes. Oil the well with cooking oil...to make sure the concrete doesn't stick.
Mix concrete as per the instructions on the bag. Then fill containers.
Use more containers to make the holes in them for the plants (don't forget to oil the outside of those containers though!)
Voila! Cool modern planters. You can use a concrete drill bit to drill a hole in the bottom for drainage.
Add plants and enjoy.

You can also make hypertufa, for lighter concrete.
