French Rustic Powder Room
My powder room felt boring after a mini makeover that we did to it 2 years ago. It was one of those projects that we took on just to improve the look of it, from what it looked like when we moved in. I wasn't completely satisfied...but waited until the right time and right idea popped in my head.
First I decided to paint the bathroom with "Super White" by Sherwin Williams. It made a nice bright feel, but I decided to revers the drama by painting the beadboard a nice dark gray. Once that was complete I knew I needed some more drama and interest to the white wall. I added a DIY Stamp Wallpaper to the main wall.
That made a big difference in this space, and added that touch of "french" sophistication. It was an easy DIY and I did an entire post alone on thathttp://seekinglavenderlane.com/stamp-wallpaper/. Once that was complete I added some DIY Rustic Shelves from left over pallet wood.
With some pretty accessories and lavender scented soap the room felt complete. I wanted it to feel unique and pretty at the same time. Touches of rustic elements with a feminine touch.
Oh and probably my favorite find was this cute little table that sits perfectly in the small corner of this bathroom. And I paired it nicely with a white pitcher and dried Hydrangeas that went nicely with the hydrangea themed room.

So frustrating when the origianl posters do not answer questions! I did a bit of research and found where you can purchase on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Inkadinkado-Mounted-Rubber-Stamp-DD-Hydrangea/dp/B001683RRI/ref=as_li_ss_tl?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1521320469&sr=1-1&keywords=hydrangea+stamp&linkCode=sl1&tag=seeklavelan00-20&linkId=cf33c6e879dc078336b4c765285a12d9

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
It's lovely! But... where did you get the 6 wall hangings (cutting boards?) in the before picture? I have some but need more!
The bath is very pretty, so pretty in fact I went on your house tour, also very pretty. My question is about the pink vintage girls room, the drapery at the head of the bed, how are those hung? Thank you in advance.
