Kids/Guest Bathroom Update - From Builder Basic to WOW on a Budget

This bathroom was in need of an update and upgrade. This is the bathroom that guests would use when they come to the house for a visit or overnight.
This is the bathroom BEFORE looking towards the shower. A wall and a door separated the vanity/sink area from the shower. The two doors and the wall made this space feel cramped.
We tore down the wall and took out the door. Instantly the bathroom felt bigger. We did leave a small pony wall dividing the vanity from the toilet.
This was the vanity BEFORE. It had builder basic tile and a maple wood cabinet. The cabinet was not in good shape. Tearing this out was easy.
The new vanity, vessel sink, mirror and light really make a statement. The vanity is pre-fabricated and was purchased from Discount Bathroom Vanities.com
The shower felt closed in with the glass that you can not see through. The tile is old and dated.
The shower is the same size but looks bigger for two reasons. 1) The new tile goes all the way to the ceiling drawing the eye up. 2)The frame-less glass door. We also did an arabesque feature tile in the center of the shower wall to add a focal point as you step into the bathroom. It's like art on the wall!
BEFORE the toilet area was cramped because of the wall.
The entire space is lighter and brighter with the wall removed. The only art we needed was over the toilet. We hung two framed geodes that have a colbot blue running through them.
