Decorate An Outdoor Lantern For Spring With These Easy Decor Ideas

Easy
I purchased on sale a large black outdoor lantern last fall for my front porch. It has a battery-operated candle that can be automatically set to turn on and off every evening. I loved that it added more light to the front porch for decor and security reasons. But I was not thrilled that it was pretty plain and basic looking.
But I was not thrilled was that it was pretty plain and basic looking.
I bought a greenery garland at Michaels with a 50% coupon. Then I wrapped it around the candle making sure to not cover the faux flame.
The next thing I did was make a big white bow with sheer white wire edge ribbon and embellished it with some silk Gerbera Daisy flowers.
This ten-minute project was easy to do and I love how it looks on the porch during the day!
I equally love how it looks lit up every night. An unexpected bonus is the greenery garland softened the light making it look even prettier!
I invite you to visit the blog post to see other images showing how this spring decorated outdoor lantern looks. It also has links to other blog posts I have shared giving you step-by-step photo tutorials showing you how to easily make this gorgeous bow.
