Make Potholder Loops From Old T-shirts

30 Minutes
Easy
Weave your own custom colours potholders with loops made from upcycled T-shirts.
When I couldn't find potholder loops to match my kitchen, I made my own loops from old T-shirts and cotton jersey camisoles that I was going to give to Goodwill.
Lay the shirt out flat on a table, and cut just under the sleeves (or armholes if it's a tank top). Save the rest of the shirts, because I have another DIY project using those!)
Weave your potholder; chain the loops off the loom; and you are done!
If you have never woven a potholder, or need a "refresher course", I have a full tutorial on the how-to. (link below is for full start-to-finish potholder how-to)

Mary Beth @ The How to Home on Mar 22, 2016These are awesome, Donna! I made some of these when I was little and I made some with my youngest son a few years ago. I prefer them to store bought pot holders any day.
