Thrifted Door Decor
Little oak door I picked up for $3.
Finished project.
Paint entire door.
2 coats of shabby paint color, Garfield gray.
Tape outer trim.
Using a sponge brush, I painted on Elmer's school glue. .
After approximately 5 minutes paint.
One coat of Annie Sloan color, old ochre..
Add stencil.
Stencil I purchased from etsy. Stenciled in shabby paint color, buffalo brown. After dry , I sealed entire door with Shabby product clear Vax. Then when dry, added Annie Sloan dark wax to old ochre and center of door.
Another look at finished project.
Was going for an aged look. Happy with my little door. :)
