I've had this television stand forever. It has great bonesand even the dark cherry wood stain on it isn't bad either but it needed somecharacter. Initially I was going to sand it all down and paint it a pop ofcolor but after seeing a project my crafty mom was doing on a desk with Burlap,an idea came to me. I went to Joann'sCraft store and picked up printed burlap. I was on the lookout for burlap witha colored print but I had no luck. Instead I opted for this wine label one witha hint of yellow. After it was all saidand done I felt the television was still missing something so I decided to sandit in random places for the aged look and I was thrilled how well it turnedout. This was one of my favoriteprojects to do. It can be messy but it'sa very simple process and let's face it...Burlap is the new black. ; )
