Can you use the spray adhesive on fabric to cover a lamp shade?
@Dee Johnston Yes, I believe you can.
I don't understand why you put a 'lid' on the lamp? The heat rises and needs to escape from the top. Otherwise, I like what you did with the shells.
It is an LED lamp and, while LEDs do get hot, they don't get as hot as more traditional lights.
Where did you get the light kit from?
Nancy, If you can find a lamp kit similar to the one used in this post then be a doll and post. I just searched my little heart out and found nothing but regular lamp parts. This one appears to be a wireless lighting kit, but it may have a patent and why it cannot be found under another name.
