I have been so busy decorated our new vacation home and having a ball. I am going with a cottage beach look for our home. I priced out the neat rope lamps and they were just out of my price range. So I started searching for my inspiration.
I found this great lamp at a yard sale for $3.00 the shape was perfect but it needed work.
It takes a lot of time and patience but it is well worth it. I bought a roll of rope a yard sale for a buck and used a glue gun and wrapped and wrapped and wrapped. It takes a lot of rope material but I didn't want any gaps.
And of course I shopped thrift stores for lamp shade and found this one for about $4.00. I think it turned out amazing and only at about $8.00 you will never find an original like this. Thanx for visiting!
