Semi Invisible Trellis

I started with measuring the area I had to plan along the sidewalk to house then I cut two pieces of 1x2 and painted to blend. Top being the color of the ceiling of my porch and the bottom brown to blend into the wood chips
Then I staked down the bottom board after adding actual clay/soil then weaved the twine between eyelets that I screwed into each board the top board painted the same color as house and the bottom piece sprayed brown to match soil. I used stakes to hold down the bottom piece sitting in flowerbed
These are the mature flowers vines Moonflowers that will grow across the new porch trellis

Very inspired! I grew morning glories last year that took over my entire bed! Your idea is perfect for creating shade on my west facing back porch!! Thanks a lot for the tutorial!
