A Hobbit Door

We had this mini (weird) door that gave us access to our a/c unit. I decided to give it a new look. It's definitely a conversation starter!
I started by adding some trim to give it dimension, but I first added a decorative door element that I found at Hobby Lobby.
After gluing and nailing in place, I started with some staining as a base
Then some white paint to make it look old.
Then I did this crazy hinges that are totally made out of caulking, drying and then painting.
Here's the final look...
