Broke them in half at the bend and took a pair of scissors and rounded off one end....

Took a old hat box lid I started placing them around and securing them with hot glue....

Digging into my old costume jewelry I found a String of Pearls and an antique butterfly pen...

I hot glued the pearls in a circular motion on a piece of the extra basket then attaching the little butterfly and cutting around small piece of wood and dry brushing a little antique white paint on it and then secured with hot glue...

    Did you reduse the size of petals as you went around the lid?

    Did you spray the basket with clorox first, or what would you recommend if I used baskets that have been outside in the elements?

      You can renew any handle or big basket by placing it in laundry trays with laundry detergent and Clorox and swish a few minutes. Place in sun to dry. Voila a new basket.
