Create An Outdoor Fairy Garden With Your Kids

Go douse yourself with bug spray and head out into the woods for some foraging and family bonding time.
If you're looking for a fun family activity this summer, consider planting an outdoor fairy garden.
Purchase plants at the garden shop, or even better dig up your own ferns, moss and grass during a hike in the woods. Plastic toys, rocks, gemstones, shells and Dollar Store statues are great for attracting fairies.
Just be careful of bug bites...after you read my blog post, you'll definitely want to heed my warning.

Designer Stone Inc. on Aug 11, 2016Love this idea! In the wetter, winter months we find "witches hair" on various bushes and trees on the local trails. Here's the "fairy garden" in our shop.
