Playing around with concrete and cement, I made these planters and candleholders....
see how I did it on my blog...
making a selection of planters and tea-light holders out of cement and concrete...
use old plastic containers....cement mix
add some lace washi tape
cement tea-light votives setting
cement setting in moulds
making concrete planters...
concrete setting in moulds
concrete...coming out of mould
rough and ready...
for some sanding...

    Witch is better, just concrete and water or mixing items like peat moss and vermiclite? I am wanting to try this for the first time. Ty

    Why is my concrete crumbling and falling apart. . Did I mix concrete to dry. Not enough water mixed in .

    These are awesome.You can make mushroom the same way,the top piece anyway.If you know someone who takes core samples(which I did) from cement,the sample that comes out is perfect for the mushroom stem.I don`t have access to that anymore,so I will have to make my own mold for the stem.Thanks for sharing.

      You can make mushrooms using sand casting the top.
