Vintage School Desk DIY is a Head of the Class

Hubby and I found this adorable vintage school desk when we were out antiquing. I couldn’t help but take it home and give it some love. This DIY will certainly take this sad little desk to the head of the class.

This was what the school desk looked like before the DIY. Lots of personality on the desk. I love the name and the heart with the smiley.

I used Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint in Primer Red and leftover chalkboard paint. Although the white is in the picture, I didn’t end up using it.

I like the chalkboard on the back so you can write your child’s name in chalk.

What do you think? Time to get schooled?
