From Baking Pan to Wall Frame
Have you baked all the brownies you can bake in an old, tired, scratched-up pan? Instead of tossing it, give it a new purpose by transforming it into wall art. From a pan we picked up at an estate sale, learn how to take an old pan and quickly transform it into an unconventional piece of art.
Clean the pan of any debris.. or caked on brownies! If desired, give the baking pan a spray of color to coordinate with the piece of art or photograph you plan to insert into the baking pan.
Once dry, trace the inside shape of the baking pan onto a piece of foam board or heavy cardboard. Print your artwork or photograph onto high quality photo paper or have it professionally printed. Adhere the art - carefully - with spray adhesive spray.
Using some sturdy glue, attach a wall hook to the back of the pan. Once dry, insert your artwork. You may need to glue the art to the inside of the pan if it doesn't snugly fit. Enjoy your unique piece of wall art! If you like quirky ideas, check out my wood letter block toilet roll holder and my astro turf outdoor pillow.
