(IC: homeowner)
On a trip into town I stopped at the Salvation Army Furniture Store and picked up a few things,a dresser, potty chair and 3 stools to be exact.
I have not started on the dresser or potty chair as of yet,but did do all the stools.
And here they are.
I have not started on the dresser or potty chair as of yet,but did do all the stools.
And here they are.
This first one was $10,and done in a dark stain as you can see.
Here she is after sanding................................
...............and here she is finished I moved on to the next one, which was only $5 and a total mess.
Three coats later................................
Here are the cookie cutters.
I did an overlay design and made up some pink and burgandy paint.
I kept going round the stool with my dots, until I thought it looked good.
I finished it off by using a paint pen to go around a portion of the big circles as my hand was a bit unsteady and I had some line issues.
The final stool was this little guy,all wood bottom and damn it.....presswood top.
Enjoyed the project?
