A Random Rose Bush

This is a random rose bush I just put in the ground in a spot because I had no where left to put it (for sun). It had not grown in 3 years that I received it from a friend who thought I should try my green thumb at rosebushes (not a good idea in a yard with 60' oak trees and varying degrees and hours of sunlight). Well, It has bloomed again and has grown 2 1/2 feet since I put it here only 3 months ago~right next to a mighty oak. As my friends and neighbors say "your thumb sure is green!"

Joann Muncy on Sep 29, 2013I just saw on hometalk this past week instructions on cutting back Knock Out Roses for the winter, as I am getting more forgetful--can"t remember when & how much to cut them back. Did anyone else see this?
