I love Kimberly Ferns. They are big and beautiful and can take a bit of abuse. I buy them on the markdown rack and cut off the dead, put them in a bigger pot, and water. I will over winter in the garage come about November maybe even December.

Pamela Jordan on Sep 30, 2013I BOUGHT MINE THIS SPRING & PLANTED IN THE GROUND (THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL)! WILL I HAVE TO DIG THEM UP TO SAVE THEM OR CAN I JUST COVER THEM FOR THE WINTER, IT GETS PRETTY HARSH HERE IN OKLAHOMA IN THE WINTER?

Stefeni Engebritson on Dec 11, 2014I too love these ferns. I didn't know their name I just called them sword ferns. LOL...anyway I have them lining my walkway to the front door and they get sooooo big they make a jungle I actually have to prune the walkway side which may sound weird but looks great....they fill in the hedged area almost immediately...within two weeks they are ready to pounce on walker's-by again. Great ferns...hearty and prolific as you stated.

The Garden Frog with C Renee on Dec 11, 2014@Stefeni Engebritson I overwinter 3 large ones in the garage because they take lows of 40 in my garage (I live in zone 7b). Then spring I cut them in half or quarters and pot again. Our small garage is a workshop and plant conservatory right now. LOL
