I really like using the wood from old fruit basket... so I started out with the one on the button
I carefully took it apart...
Then cutting just below the Ben of each piece of wood into a rounded point it wouldn't look so sharp...
I purchase 2 foam poster boards and cut the to a Christmas tree shape ....
Back...
Front...
Working from the bottom up I started hot gluing my rustic branches....
Taking the bands and cutting them into small pedals to make my topper
Then putting it all together and this is the final result of my rustic Christmas tree out of an old fruit basket!
From top to bottom!
This is the natural Bend of the basket....
On the door!
Or in a Window!
Having fun with Eve's Saturday Projects!

super cute! Amazing to believe that one fruit basket did the entire tree and flower! I believe I have two of these stuck away in storage room

Hi again, Eve. Another phenomenal use of the fruit basket. This is “right down my alley “ too. I can foresee picking up fruit baskets anytime I see them now. Lol. Great job!
