Simple Way to Display Fabric

After a recent trip to France where I purchased some pretty fabric, I tried to think of a simple ,inexpensive way to display my find. I had various sizes of those wooden embroidery hoops but then , how do I display those? I really had no idea what I wanted but after visiting a local thrift shop I found this inexpensive rail. I don't have any pictures of what I did but it was very simple. After ironing the appropriate size fabric for each hoop, leaving a little extra around the edges, I basically stretched the fabric over each hoop and cut off the excess edge fabric.
I painted the rail with white chalk paint, along with the hoops- prior to stretching the fabric of course! Added the ribbon to the hoops, securing them at the spindles.

Nailed in 2 nails at each top edge, hanging the top rail from them.
Displayed below a tray ceiling above a tall wall unit holding my display of architectural lanterns in my craft room.

Simple, fast, and I remember my trip to France daily.

Would be cute for handkerchiefs or anything fabric or even paper you'd want to display.

Fab idea, I hoard remnants of material I love but too small to use for a cushion etc. this idea is perfect. I will buy some hoops and display my gorgeous materials .
