Let’s talk kitchen towels. Where do you hang your kitchen dish towels? I have always had an issue on where to hang the kitchen towels. I am guilty of hanging them from the handles of the refrigerator door or on the handle of the oven, or they simply end up folded up on the kitchen counter, sound familiar?
Recently while I was out shopping thrift stores, I picked up this wood wire rack ( thinking it was probably once a child’s abacus, now missing the beads)

After cleaning it up, a coat of white linen Rust-oleum chalked paint was applied to the base and the rest of the wood was painted with Rust-oleum charcoal chalked paint, a small decorative dowel was added to the top along with a cup hook on each side to hang damp dish cloth and towel.
do have to say this was probably one of the quickest projects I have done. I love how it turned out and now my dilemma of where to hang my dish towels is no longer an issue.
